SUMMARY OF PD-1 THREE-ROUND CASH DISTRIBUTION OF UNCONDITIONAL SEASONAL SUPPORT PROJECT:

Unconditional Seasonal Assistance (KAO-SO1-NECDO-AF01-1305-0001) may be a six-month project funded by World Food Program (WFP).

Project implementation Summary:

Noor Educational & Capacity Development Organization (NECDO) successfully implemented WFP Unconditional Seasonal Support Project (KAO-SO1-NECDO-AF01-1305-0001) within 6 months from 1st January 2022 to June 30th, 2022 in Kabul,  PD-1, PD-7, and PD-9. The NECDO team started Survey for cash distribution to vulnerable families (widows, Orphans, wobbled and crippled, and those who have the most lower-income monthly), the project was supported by World Food Program (WFP).

2. SURVEY & SCOPE EXPLANATIONS

Initially NECDO recruited the survey and scope teams upon agreement with WFP representative from 1st January, 2022 to 30th June, 2022. The survey team asked the focal points, community leaders (Wakil-e-Guzar) and Mullah Imams to provide us the list of vulnerable families. As soon as lists were gathered, the team started the survey and each day approximately 3000 families were surveyed and the selected numbers of families were asked to come next day for Scope process. In total 30513  households were surveyed.

4. CONCLUSION

This project has been started from PD-1 and NECDO survey and scope team conducted survey successfully with scope (data entry in database) which was started in January, 2022 and completed in June, 2022. The purpose of this project is to assist the most vulnerable families with cash assistance. Each district has a specified portion of beneficiaries therefore 30513 families were surveyed. Each beneficiary received the cash assistance for six month  19,800 AFN through (cash provider). The cash distribution took place in presence of the field monitor from WFP.
